I Want to Follow a Mastodon Account from my Diaspora

Hi!

My favorite Linux distro is in the Federation (https://mastodon.social/@mxlinux), but I can’t share with it on Diaspora even though I’m supposed to be able to.

Searching…
… and no one was found.

Can’t I add it to my Aspects somehow?

Mastodon uses the OStatus and ActivityPub protocols, so cannot federate with Diaspora at all.

Diaspora currently federates with Friendica, Hubzilla, Socialhome and GangGo, all via the Diaspora federation protocol.

Thank you @goob! I went to my distro’s forum to ask for an official presence on Diaspora. I could volunteer to manage it too I suppose.

It is possible to see Mastodon posts reshared from Friendica on Diaspora, though…
