Is there a page on the Diaspora website that reports pods that are down or having trouble? Where can I get information?
I am getting nothing but a white screen from pod.jns.im. I can ping it successfully.
The diaspora* project team, who runs the website, has no business in running pods. We don’t know who runs pods, and we also don’t know how pods are maintained. So unfortunately, I can’t answer your question.
Most larger pods have twitter accounts, public status pages, or something else that could help you, but unfortunately, I’m not aware of anything from the pod you linked. If the pod doesn’t come up soon and you have a pod there, you could check if you can send an email to the email address you get your notifications from, or look up the domain in a whois database and check if there is any contact information.
