Search facility missing in some cases from UI in v0.7.10.0

I use https://joindiaspora.com/ . For some time, there has no longer been any search box or search icon on the main icon strip. (Many items have recently been moved to the hamburger menu.)

When I switched to “standard mode” using the hamburger menu, the search box moves to the bottom of the menu. This menu does not scroll in standard mode.
The menu is not big enough when holding my phone in landscape mode, so the bottom entries (including search) are not visible.

My browser is Chrome on Android.

A small point: joindiaspora.com still uses 0.7.9.0 code. Therefore what you’re experiencing can’t be related to the 0.7.10.0 update.

Many header-bar menu items were moved into the ‘drawer’ when the design was made responsive a couple of years ago.

I can confirm (using Firefox on iOS) that the drawer menu doesn’t scroll in standard mode.
