Spam comments from accounts on other pods

Hi,

I recently get many abuse reports about spam comments on my pod, which turn out to be generated from accounts on other pods. Is there any possibility to block those accounts?
And if such accounts are created on my pod, which flood the comment areas with spam, is it possible to delete them with just one click?

Thanks in advance

Just a guess - ’ adenholdinh@iviv.hu’ ?
For mass-deletion I use the diaspora_spam script:

You can also leave the podmin a message.

Its been a while, but thanks !

It is actually not so bad as I thought, with just a handful spam comments need to be deleted a few times per week. Although it would be helpful if accounts could simply be blocked (or their comments be forwarded to /dev/null automatically, when they have been marked as spam users).

The main problem that I have now is that I get a lot of emails, when a spam comment or other abuse content is reported. As the podmin user and as my personal user too, since I enabled this account as admin. This is really annoying. Is there a way to switch off the email notifications on abuse reports? Or, better, decrease that to one email per day, when unexamined messages exist? I didn’t find something in the config template regarding this, but maybe there is another work around?

Ah, nevermind. Found that setting in the notification settings area in the UI :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. Not soo advanced as I’d like to have it (once per day on unexamined messages), but at least I can get rid of the spam emails when spam is reported
