We’ve even got a little introduction for new users about what ‘the Stream’ is in the getting started tutorials… https://diasporafoundation.org/getting_started/interface … so there shouldn’t be any confusion.
I’ve just seen a lovely paraphrasing of Heraclitus by @fabiantamaslaszlo: ‘You can never read the same stream twice, since it’s not the same stream, nor the same person.’
I think this in itself is a really good reason to keep the name ‘Stream’. It emphasises the ever-changing nature of the stream, rather than being a fixed place (‘home’).
