Proposal: Strip out D* Beta features.
Diaspora’s Beta features ended up not being very conducive to Diaspora itself, and was better-suited to Makr.io. We should strip out the hybrid Beta/Makr stuff as a starting point.

No, a lot of useful underlying changes and fixes went in alongside beta. It’s more useful to strip out beta than it is to roll back and cherry-pick months upon months of fixes.
