Unicorn_worker in diaspora.yml

In the diaspora.yml it has unicorn_worker=2 for the default and says you can increase it if you have many users. Mine is currently set at 4 (must have done that a while ago because I don’t remember changing it) but was curious what this does exactly and wondering if/when I should increase it to more than 4? I’m currently at over 9000 users with over 3600 active monthly.

This is basically the number of requests that can be handled concurrently, so the measure here to judge this would be queue wait time in your reverse proxy I think. If that’s high it might make sense to increase it.
