Right now I have it set so that users automatically follow hq for diaspora, which helps in both feteration and for users to better understand Diaspora*. But I’d also like them to follow me too as a way for me to better administrate my server and make sure people aren’t spamming.
There’s an open Github ticket for this: https://github.com/diaspora/diaspora/issues/4986
No controversy; just needs someone to make the effort to build it.
